Of the Metaview alternatives built for AI sourcing in 2026, Pin is the best overall, with unlimited candidate searches across 850M+ profiles on paid plans from $99 a month. Metaview now sells each agent as its own line item (Notetaker, Sourcing, Application Review, Screening, and Reports), and this guide covers the sourcing side. That’s the product that got more expensive. As late as March 6, 2026, Metaview’s $100-per-user sourcing plan advertised unlimited searches, according to a Wayback Machine snapshot of its pricing page. By the March 11, 2026 snapshot, the same $100 bought 200 profiles per user per month, and unlimited profile sourcing had moved to a $300 Max tier.

As the price climbed, so did Metaview’s ambitions, well ahead of its track record. The company started as an interview notetaker, launched AI Sourcing only in fall 2025, and announced an autonomous outbound agent, fillmore, that was still waitlist-only when Metaview bought recruiting firm Reval in August 2026 (Business Wire, August 2026). Buyers are shopping for agents all the same: 52% of talent leaders plan to add autonomous AI agents to their teams in 2026, according to Korn Ferry’s talent acquisition trends research (2025). If you’re replacing Metaview’s Notetaker instead, our roundup of notetaker-focused alternatives covers that job.

In brief:

  • Pin is the best Metaview alternative for AI sourcing. Paid plans include unlimited candidate searches across 850M+ profiles from $99 a month, and one credit unlocks an email or a phone number.
  • Metaview Pro caps sourcing at 200 profiles per user a month. The same $100 plan advertised unlimited searches until March 2026. Unlimited sourcing now costs $300 per user on the Max plan.
  • Most recruiting desks outgrow that cap. In Pin’s 2026 recruiter survey, 61.6% of respondents carry a sourcing load above 200 profiles across their open roles.
  • Metaview’s sourcing has no public track record. It launched in fall 2025, has no independent reviews, and its own sourcing guide says the data “is not exhaustive, and coverage can vary across locations, industries, and highly specialised roles.”

Why Are Recruiters Looking for Metaview Alternatives in 2026?

Recruiters look for alternatives because unlimited sourcing on Metaview now costs three times what it did in early March 2026. Uncapped use moved from $100 to $300 per user that month, contact data costs 3 to 10 credits per lookup (about $1 per phone number), and the new fillmore agent has no published price. Each point below cites a dated Wayback copy of Metaview’s pages or its help center.

FeaturePinMetaview AI Sourcing
Entry paid plan✅ $99/mo (Solo, billed annually)⚠️ $100/user/mo (Pro)
Monthly sourcing limit✅ Unlimited searches on paid plans❌ 200 profiles per user on Pro
Unlimited sourcing at entry price✅ Included from $99/mo❌ Only on Max, $300/user/mo
Contact data✅ 1 credit per email or phone❌ 3 credits per email, 10 per phone
Published database size and coverage✅ 850M+ profiles, 100% North America and Europe❌ Size unpublished; coverage “not exhaustive”
Always-on search on entry plan✅ 24/7 AI sourcing from Solo❌ Scheduled reruns only on Max and Enterprise
Native interview scheduling✅ Automated scheduling❌ Sequences stop at a Calendly booking
Independent reviews of sourcing product✅ 4.8/5 on G2, the highest-rated AI recruiting software on G2❌ None; launched fall 2025
Agent pricing✅ AI agents included in every plan❌ Each agent billed separately; fillmore’s fee unpublished

Uncapped sourcing now costs three times as much. As late as March 6, 2026, the pricing page listed AI Sourcing at $100 per user per month with “Unlimited searches on paid plan.” By March 11, 2026, the archived page capped the $100 Pro plan at 200 profiles sourced per month, and “Unlimited profiles sourced” had moved to the $300 Max tier. Pro is still sold as “Proactive, 24/7 candidate search,” yet the help center reserves scheduled search reruns for Max and Enterprise and warns of a “monthly search limit” on Pro.

Contact data costs 3 to 10 credits per lookup. When Metaview launched outreach in February 2026, its announcement said every workspace gets 500 credits per month, an email costs 3 credits, and a phone number costs 10 (Wayback Machine copy, March 6, 2026). That’s about 166 emails or 50 phone numbers a month, shared across the entire workspace. Top-ups cost $10 per 100 credits, so each phone number after the free pool costs $1. Enrichment is one of five separate credit meters on the bill. On Pin, one credit unlocks a personal email, a work email, or a phone number.

Metaview’s own docs hedge on the data. Per its help center, sourced candidates “may occasionally be unavailable, outdated, duplicated, incorrectly matched, or not suitable for the role,” and those sourcing credits still count against the cap. Its sourcing guide concedes the data “is not exhaustive,” and Metaview doesn’t publish how many profiles it can search. Contact data gets the same treatment: the Outreach page promises “verified emails and phone numbers,” while the enrichment docs say results “may occasionally be incorrect, outdated, or undeliverable.”

Metaview’s fillmore agent has no published price. That matters because the standard Sourcing agent, per Metaview’s own guidance, does not “Automatically contact, progress, or reject any candidate,” and its sequences stop when a candidate books through Calendly. Announced in June 2026, fillmore is an autonomous agent that sources, writes outreach, and books screening calls. Its product page says it runs entirely in Slack, with “no web app, no dashboard, no logins.” The pitch is “only pay when you hire,” yet the per-hire fee isn’t published, so you have to book a demo to learn it. In August, when Metaview bought AI-native recruiting firm Reval to speed fillmore up, the agent was still waitlist-only.

There are no reviews to check any of this against. Launched only in fall 2025, Metaview’s sourcing product has no independent reviews on G2 or Product Hunt, so buyers are going on the demo alone. For the full platform picture, see our feature-by-feature Pin and Metaview breakdown.

After shipping to thousands of recruiters, one planning mistake keeps coming up: teams size a sourcing tool by open roles instead of by profiles per hire. Pin’s 2026 recruiter survey (250+ responses, April to September 2026) asked the question directly. Nearly two in three recruiters (64.5%) source 25 or more candidates for every hire, 38% source 50 or more, and about one in five source 100-plus. A separate question (450+ responses) found half of recruiters carry six or more open roles at once. Among the 100+ recruiters who answered both, 61.6% need more than 200 profiles to work the roles already on their desk, using range midpoints. Even at the low end of every answer, one in four needs 300 or more. If those roles are worked in the same month, that load outruns a Pro seat’s 200-profile allowance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best Metaview alternatives for AI sourcing?

Pin is the best Metaview alternative for AI sourcing, with unlimited candidate searches on paid plans, 100% coverage of North America and Europe, and pricing from $99 a month. Metaview’s own $100 plan, by contrast, stops at 200 profiles a month. LinkedIn Recruiter and Workable are the closest mainstream substitutes. AmazingHiring suits tech hiring, Manatal suits tight budgets, and Phenom suits large enterprises.

How much does Metaview AI Sourcing cost in 2026?

Unlimited Metaview sourcing costs $300 per user per month on Max. Pro costs $100 per user per month for 200 profiles, a cap that replaced unlimited searches at the same price in March 2026. Free covers a one-time 100 profiles, and Enterprise is custom. Contact enrichment runs on a separate credit meter: 3 credits per email and 10 per phone number, or about $1 per phone at top-up rates. Five recruiters on Max with 1,000 emails and 250 phone numbers a month pay about $2,000 a month. Pin’s Solo plan costs $99 a month billed annually, with unlimited searches and one credit per email or phone.

Is Metaview a sourcing tool or an interview notetaker?

It’s both now: Metaview began as an AI interview notetaker, then added AI Sourcing in fall 2025, outreach sequences in February 2026, and the autonomous fillmore agent in June 2026. Each agent is a separate line item (Notetaker, Sourcing, Application Review, Screening, and Reports), so the bill stacks as a team adds them.

What is Metaview fillmore?

Metaview fillmore is an autonomous recruiting agent announced in June 2026. It lives in Slack, sources candidates, writes outreach, and books screening calls, pitched as “only pay when you hire.” It was waitlist-only as of August 2026, now routes buyers to a demo, and still has no published per-hire fee.

Which Metaview competitor is the cheapest?

Manatal has the cheapest paid seat at $15 per user per month billed annually, but it’s an ATS with capped jobs and candidates. For dedicated AI sourcing, Pin’s free plan costs nothing, and its $99 Solo plan includes unlimited candidate searches, 2 AI agents, and 500 contact credits a month.

What Should You Ask Before Buying an AI Sourcing Agent?

Ask five questions before buying an AI sourcing agent: what one profile or hire costs, how much data there is, and how many credit meters stack on the bill. Then ask who approves outreach before it sends and whether the agent works where your team works. Caution is warranted, because Gartner predicts over 40% of agentic AI projects will be canceled by the end of 2027 (Gartner, June 2025). Gartner also estimates only about 130 of the thousands of vendors claiming agentic AI are real. Adoption in human resources is early, too: 82% of respondents in McKinsey’s 2025 survey said their organizations don’t use AI agents in HR at all (Stanford AI Index 2026).

  1. What does one profile or one hire cost, in writing? A pay-per-hire promise without a published fee can’t go into a budget.
  2. How much profile data is there, and where are the gaps? Ask for an index size and coverage by region. Metaview publishes neither and calls its data “not exhaustive.”
  3. How many meters does the bill run on? Metaview runs sourcing, enrichment, Application Review, Screening, and Notetaker on separate credits.
  4. Who approves outreach before it sends? Recruiter review keeps messages personal, accurate, and on-brand, which matters because only 26% of job applicants trust AI to evaluate them fairly (Gartner, July 2025).
  5. Does the agent work where your whole team works? A Slack-only agent with no dashboard is hard to audit across a team.

Pin puts its answers in writing. It publishes its self-serve plan prices and its 850M+ profile database, and it charges one contact credit per email or phone number on a single meter. Recruiters can review each email before it sends or let email steps send automatically, while LinkedIn and SMS steps stay recruiter tasks.

Which 3 Tools Replace Metaview’s Sourcing Agent Most Directly?

Pin, LinkedIn Recruiter with its Hiring Assistant agent, and Workable’s new AI agents replace Metaview’s sourcing agent most directly. Each searches a large profile pool and runs outreach from the same workspace. Demand for that job is real: recruiting leads every other HR function in AI adoption, with 27% of organizations applying AI in talent acquisition (SHRM, 2026).

1. Pin - Best Overall Metaview Alternative for AI Sourcing

Pin (pin.com) is an AI recruiting platform that sources candidates, runs multi-channel outreach sequences, and schedules interviews. It’s the best Metaview alternative for recruiters who want AI sourcing without a monthly profile meter. Pin’s AI sourcing searches the largest multi-source candidate database in the industry, drawn from professional networks, GitHub, Stack Overflow, patents, and academic publications, with 100% coverage of North America and Europe.

Match quality is the second reason teams switch. Pin’s 2026 user survey spans 2,000+ organizations and 20,000+ users. It found that 83% of Pin-recommended candidates are accepted into customers’ hiring pipelines, the highest acceptance rate in the industry, and that recruiters save 12 hours a week on sourcing and outreach combined. Pin also holds 4.8/5 on G2, the highest-rated AI recruiting software on G2.

Outreach happens in the same place. Email steps send automatically, while LinkedIn and SMS steps are queued as recruiter tasks with AI-drafted messages. Replies land in a shared inbox, and automated scheduling books the interviews.

“Having tried several other sourcing tools in the past, I can say that Pin stands out as the most effective - it genuinely helps me make placements.” Rich Moss, Founder & Principal Recruiter at Moss Search

Good for: Agencies and in-house teams that want uncapped search, published prices, and outreach in one workflow.

Pricing: Free plan with no credit card (3 searches a day, 5 contact credits a week). Solo is $99/mo billed annually, with 2 AI agents and 500 contact credits a month. Professional is $135 per user per month billed annually or $179 month-to-month, with 2 agents and 1,000 credits per user. Business is custom, with unlimited seats, agents, and credits, per Pin’s pricing plans.

Trade-offs: Pin is built for sourcing, outreach, and scheduling, not interview recording, so it replaces Metaview’s sourcing agent rather than its Notetaker. ATS sync is an add-on below the Business plan.

2. LinkedIn Recruiter - The Incumbent Network With Its Own Agent

Many teams shopping for Metaview alternatives already pay for LinkedIn Recruiter, which now ships its own sourcing agent, Hiring Assistant, as a sales-quoted add-on. LinkedIn says Hiring Assistant customers review 80% fewer profiles before deciding whom to approach, a company-reported figure from Prashanthi Padmanabhan, VP of LinkedIn Talent Solutions Engineering (Business Today, September 2026).

Good for: Teams whose candidates are active on LinkedIn and who already hold Recruiter seats.

FIG. 01 — LINKEDIN RECRUITERThe Incumbent Network With Its Own Agent

Pricing: Recruiter Lite runs about $140 to $170 a month per seat, depending on billing term, and LinkedIn’s help center puts its InMail allowance at 30 credits a month. Full Recruiter seats list at $8,000 to $12,000 per seat per year (Vendr, 2026). Hiring Assistant is a sales-quoted add-on to Recruiter, with no published price. Our breakdown of LinkedIn Recruiter’s seat-by-seat costs covers add-ons and renewals.

Trade-offs: Hiring Assistant works from LinkedIn profiles, applicants in connected ATSs, and, since LinkedIn’s 2026 hiring release, external data from GitHub and other platforms. InMail credits still cap outreach volume, and seats are licensed per recruiter.

3. Workable - Metered AI Sourcing Inside an ATS

Workable is the closest match to Metaview’s metered model, since its agents also run on credits. Four agents (Job Brief, Sourcing, Screening, and Engagement) reached general availability on September 14, 2026 (GlobeNewswire via The Manila Times, 2026). Sourcing costs 2 credits per candidate, screening costs 1, and a completed candidate chat costs 10. New paid accounts get a one-time allowance of 3,000 free credits that expires after a year, and extra credits cost $0.095 to $0.12 each in bundles of 5,000 or more.

Good for: In-house teams that want an ATS and a sourcing agent on one bill.

FIG. 02 — WORKABLEMetered AI Sourcing Inside an ATS

Pricing: Standard starts at $299 a month billed annually ($3,588 a year) for companies with 1 to 20 employees, and the price climbs with company headcount. The 15-day free trial doesn’t include the AI agents. See Workable’s headcount-based tiers for larger teams.

Trade-offs: You’re buying an ATS, not a standalone sourcing tool, so the math works only if Workable becomes your system of record. The four-agent lineup and credit pricing only reached general availability on September 14, so the pricing has little history.

Which Metaview Competitors Fit Narrower Needs?

Leoforce, AmazingHiring, Manatal, and Phenom fit narrower situations: outcome-based pricing, tech-only sourcing, budget ATS seats, and an enterprise talent CRM. That spread mirrors how teams buy AI today, one job at a time. Some 69% of companies report using AI in some capacity in hiring, yet only 18% use it broadly across hiring processes (iCIMS and Aptitude Research via PR Newswire, 2026).

4. Leoforce - Pay Only for Qualified Candidates

Leoforce, the company behind the retired Arya brand, now sells AI agents for job advertising and candidate engagement rather than a self-serve search tool. Leoforce’s homepage pitches an outcome model: “If a candidate does not qualify, you do not pay.” That’s the same pay-for-results idea as fillmore, applied one step earlier in the funnel.

Good for: Employers with steady hiring volume who’d rather pay per qualified candidate than per seat.

FIG. 03 — LEOFORCEPay Only for Qualified Candidates

Pricing: Custom, based on products, hiring volume, and the number and type of open roles, per Leoforce’s pricing page. Our look at Leoforce’s quote-based pricing covers how the model evolved.

Trade-offs: There’s no self-serve plan, trial, or public rate card, and the product leans toward job ads and inbound engagement rather than outbound search.

5. AmazingHiring - Tech-Only Sourcing Across 50+ Networks

AmazingHiring searches more than 50 networks, including GitHub, Kaggle, and LinkedIn, but it’s built for engineering and data roles and little else. Contact data and outreach campaigns come bundled with the seat.

Good for: Tech recruiting teams hiring engineers, ML researchers, and security talent.

FIG. 04 — AMAZINGHIRINGTech-Only Sourcing Across 50+ Networks

Pricing: $4,800 per user per year, with no free trial, per Capterra (re-checked September 28, 2026).

Trade-offs: Coverage is built for technical roles, so the advantage fades on sales, operations, or healthcare searches. Annual per-seat contracts add up quickly for larger teams.

6. Manatal - Budget ATS With Light Sourcing

Manatal has the least expensive paid seat on this list. Its Professional plan costs $15 per user per month billed annually, or $19 monthly, and a Chrome extension sources from platforms such as Xing, Indeed, SEEK, and GitHub. Manatal advertises a database of over 700 million candidates, but sourcing is an ATS side feature, not the product.

Good for: Small teams that want an inexpensive ATS with light AI sourcing attached.

FIG. 05 — MANATALBudget ATS With Light Sourcing

Pricing: Professional at $15 per user per month (annual) or $19 (monthly), with a free trial. See Manatal’s plan-by-plan pricing for the Enterprise tiers.

Trade-offs: Professional caps each account at 15 jobs and 10,000 candidates, so growing agencies hit the ceiling fast. It’s an ATS first, and its sourcing depth trails dedicated platforms.

7. Phenom - Enterprise Talent CRM With a Sourcing Agent

Phenom fits large enterprises that want sourcing inside a broader talent platform. Ahead of its IAMPHENOM event in February 2026, Phenom said its Agent Center would feature a Sourcing Agent that “finds, segments and nurtures candidates at scale across the talent CRM and external channels” (Business Wire via Yahoo Finance, 2026). That agent sits alongside voice screening, interview, fraud detection, and intake agents.

Good for: Enterprises that run career sites, CRM, and internal mobility in one system.

FIG. 06 — PHENOMEnterprise Talent CRM With a Sourcing Agent

Pricing: Not published. The median Vendr buyer pays $98,313 a year, with a range of $37,500 to $112,278.

Trade-offs: Enterprise contracts and implementation timelines make it a poor fit for a team replacing a $100-a-month sourcing seat.

How Do Metaview Competitors Compare on Price?

Published prices for Metaview alternatives run from $15 per user per month for Manatal to Phenom’s enterprise contracts, where the median buyer pays $98,313 a year (Vendr, accessed September 2026). The bigger difference is what each price meters: seats, profiles, credits, or qualified candidates.

Annually, Metaview Pro and Pin Solo cost almost the same, so the real difference is what each meter counts. Metaview Pro stops at 2,400 sourced profiles a year per user, while Pin Solo includes unlimited candidate searches, two AI agents, and 500 contact credits a month. Workable costs less per sourced candidate than Metaview Pro: once its 3,000 free credits run out, each one costs about $0.19 to $0.24, versus $0.50 per profile on Metaview Pro ($100 divided by 200).

Scale that to a five-recruiter team and the gap widens. Five Pin Professional seats cost $8,100 a year on annual billing, with unlimited searches and 1,000 contact credits per user each month. Five Metaview Max seats cost $18,000 a year before contact data, while five Pro seats ($6,000) cap the whole team at 1,000 profiles a month. Add 1,000 emails and 250 phone numbers a month on Max and the bill reaches about $2,000 a month, or $24,000 a year. Pin Professional covers those 1,250 lookups inside its included credits for $675 a month. Predictable pricing matters more than the entry number once procurement gets involved.

Where to Start If You’re Leaving Metaview Sourcing

Start by exporting the shortlists and ideal candidate profiles you built in Metaview, then rerun the same brief in two finalists for one week. Compare the numbers that determine total cost: qualified profiles returned, the price of a verified email and phone number, and replies earned per sequence. Document the administrative work each tool removes, too, because a cheaper seat that needs manual enrichment and spreadsheet tracking rarely stays cheaper.

Of the Metaview alternatives in this guide, Pin is the one to test first for sourcing-led teams. Its free plan needs no credit card, and recruiters on Pin fill roles in an average of 14 days, the fastest time-to-fill of any AI recruiting platform, per Pin’s 2026 user survey. For a wider field of AI sourcing tools beyond Metaview’s orbit, our 2026 roundup ranks the full category.
